BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 5. The turnover of securities at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) grew from January through April 2022, Trend reports citing the BSE.

According to the BSE, this figure equaled 6.47 billion manat ($3.81 billion), up by 12 percent in annual terms.

State securities of the BSE turnover accounted for 3.53 billion manat ($2.08 billion) or 54.56 percent.

Besides, according to the BSE, the turnover of corporate securities in the first four months of this year increased by 189 percent, amounting to 398.4 million manat ($234.3 million), and repurchase agreement (REPO) transactions - by 43 percent, up to 2.5 billion manat ($1.4 billion).
