BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 10. Azerbaijan’s Kapital Bank took first place in the ranking of local banks in terms of volume of interest incomes for the first quarter of 2022, Trend reports.
According to Kapital Bank’s financial statement, the volume of its interest incomes for the reporting period amounted to 139.95 million manat ($82.32 million).
The second position in the ranking was taken by the International Bank of Azerbaijan with an interest income volume of 119 million manat ($70 million).
Pasha Bank ranked third with an interest income volume of over 71.4 million manat ($42 million).
The total volume of the first three banks’ interest incomes in 1Q2022 amounted to 330.52 million manat ($194.42 million), which is 54.73 percent of the total interest income volume of all banks in Azerbaijan (603.8 million manat or $355.1 million).
