BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 10. Azerbaijan’s Kapital Bank took first place in the ranking of local banks in terms of volume of interest expenses for the first quarter of 2022, Trend reports.
According to Kapital Bank’s financial statement, the volume of its interest expenses for the reporting period amounted to 19.1 million manat ($11.2 million).
The second position in the ranking was taken by the International Bank of Azerbaijan with an interest expenses volume of 16.6 million manat ($9.7 million).
UniBank ranked third with interest expenses volume in the amount of over 13.38 million manat ($7.87 million).
The total volume of the first three banks’ interest expenses in 1Q2022 amounted to 49.2 million manat ($28.9 million).
