BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 21. Azerbaijan's AFB Bank OJSC completed the second quarter of 2022 with a net profit of 8.673 million manat ($5.1 million), Trend reports citing the bank's financial report.
According to the report, the bank's net interest income amounted to 7.19 million manat ($4.2 million), formed of interest revenues of 8.44 million manat, or $4.9 million (growth of 30.36 percent year-on-year) and interest expenses of 1.25 million manat ($736,065).
AFB Bank's non-interest income totaled 4.877 million manat, or $2.8 million (growth by 23.6 percent year-on-year), while its non-interest expenses reached 7.317 million manat ($4.3 million) as of June 30, 2022.
Profit before tax and contingency related to banking activities made up 8.673 million manat ($5.1 million).
