BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. Surplus fixed in the state budget of Azerbaijan from the beginning of the year, Trend reports with reference to the bulletin of the country’s State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, the revenues of the Azerbaijani state budget exceeded 17.8 billion manat ($10.4 billion) from January through July 2022, which is 27.4 percent more than in the same period last year.
Expenditures on the state budget reached 15.3 billion manat ($9 billion), which is 12.1 percent higher than from January through July 2021.
The state budget generated a surplus in the amount of 2.564 billion manat ($1.5 billion) at the end of July 2022.
The nominal GDP of Azerbaijan amounted to 74.1 billion manat ($43 billion) in the specified period.
