BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 25. The state budget of Azerbaijan received about 73.6 million manat ($43.2 million) from the privatization and rental of state property from January through September 2022, Trend report via the State Property Service.

In the reporting period, 48 privatization auctions were held.

Shares of 14 joint-stock companies, 11 small state-owned enterprises, 2 unfinished objects, and 410 cars were privatized at auctions.

A total of 322 electronic applications for state property put up for auction have been received and 86 online applications through the Electronic Auction program have been made to participate in the auction over the past nine months. During this period, 24 mineral deposits were put into operation through auctions.

The state budget received about 53.8 million manat ($31.6 million) from privatization for nine months of this year.

The number of lease agreements has increased as a result of the control and educational activities carried out to ensure the effective use of state real estate and the leasing of objects.

A total of 3,170 new renting agreements were signed from January through September 2022, which is 2.6 times more than in the same period the previous year. Among them, 646 are for non-residential facilities and 2,524 for land plots.

A total payment of about 19.7 million manat ($11.5 million) from the lease of real state property was provided to the state budget from January through September 2022.
