BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 30. The largest amount of loans issued in Azerbaijan as of November 1, 2022 fell on households (54.7 percent of total lending), Trend reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

In the mentioned period, loans granted to households grew by 2.8 billion manat ($1.6 billion), or 34.8 percent year on year, from 8.12 billion manat ($4.7 billion) to 10.949 billion manat ($6.4 billion).

In addition, lending to trade and services increased by 484.2 million manat ($284 million) or 17.38 percent in a year, from 2.7 billion manat ($1.5 billion) to 3.27 billion manat ($1.9 billion). Specific weight of the field of trade and services in the total volume of lending amounted fir 16.3 percent.

Lending to the real sector of the Azerbaijani economy rose by 21.93 percent, or 3.599 billion manat ($2.1 billion) in November 2022 compared to the same month of 2021, from 16.4 billion manat ($9.6 billion) to 20.01 billion manat ($11.7 billion).
