BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 24. Total liabilities of Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan grew in 2022, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.

According to the balance sheet, this figure amounted to 397.8 million manat ($234 million), up by 85.1 million manat ($50 million) or 27.21 percent over the year.

A significant share (91.45 percent) in the structure of liabilities fell on deposits – 363.8 million manat ($214 million), which is a growth of 27.6 percent on annual basis. At the same time, the share of deposits of legal entities in the bank’s deposit structure made up 77.8 percent. Deposits of these entities amounted to 283.1 million manat ($166.5 million), up by 30.67 percent compared to 2021.

The share of deposits of individuals in the structure of liabilities of Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan made up 22.2 percent. These deposits stood at 80.7 million manat ($47.4 million), which is a growth of 17.89 percent over the year.

The bank's liabilities to credit organizations and other financial institutions in 2022 amounted to 24.67 million manat ($14.51 million).

The share capital of the bank last year equaled 55.38 million manat ($32.58 million), remaining unchanged.

Meanwhile, Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan’s common reserves increased by 34.78 percent compared to 2021 up to 3.3 million manat ($1.9 million), and its retained earnings stood at 25.36 million manat ($14.92 million).

Besides, the bank’s total capital amounted to 84.07 million ($49.45 million).

In 2021, total liabilities of the bank grew by 51.66 million manat ($30.39 million) or 18.81 percent compared to 2020, and equaled 326.29 billion manat ($191.94 million).

Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC obtained a license on January 11, 2000, from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. The key purpose of the CJSC is to improve the experience of its shareholders available in 17 countries of the world according to the requests and requirements of Azerbaijan citizens and thus, contribute to the banking sector of the country.
