BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 6. Iranian banks issued loans worth 10 quarillion rials (about $239 billion) in the services sector, during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through December 21, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

According to the statistics, 1.45 quadrillion rials (about $34.6 billion) worth of loans were issued for the establishment of enterprises and facilities in the services sector of Iran over the reporting period.

"Moreover, Iranian banks issued loans worth 7.66 quadrillion rials (about $182 billion) as working capital in the services sector within 9 months," the statistics said.

At the same time, Iranian banks issued loans worth 605 trillion rials (about $14.4 billion) for the development of enterprises and 106 trillion rials ($2.52 billion) for self-employment in the services sector for nine months.

Moreover, 64 trillion rials (about $1.52 billion) worth of loans were issued for the purchase of housing, 91 trillion rials (about $2.17 billion) for repair work, and 59 trillion rials (about $1.4 billion) for the purchase of personal assets in the services sector.

Generally, the Iranian banks issued loans worth 25 quadrillion rials (about $595 billion) in various economic sectors in the country during the first 9 months of the current Iranian year.
