BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. The total payments of 10 Azerbaijani leading insurance companies amounted to 95.9 million manat ($56.4 million) or 93.78 percent of total insurance payments from January through March 2023, Trend reports via the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

According to CBA, the list of top 10 companies in terms of payments was topped by PASHA Life Insurance, which accounted for 47.27 percent of the total insurance payments of all companies. The company's payments amounted to 48.3 million manat ($28.4 million) from January through March 2023.

PASHA Insurance, with total insurance payments of 17.7 million manat or $10.4 million (17.36 percent of all payments), ranked second, and Xalg Insurance, with payments of 6.6 million manat or $3.8 million (6.52 percent) - third.

Total payments of all insurance companies of Azerbaijan in the reporting period amounted to 102.2 million manat ($60.1 million).
