ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, August 25. Dayhanbank State Commercial Bank has become the leading bank in Turkmenistan in terms of the number of issued cards, Trend reports.
According to the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, as of the beginning of August 2023, the number of cards issued by Dayhanbank had surpassed 1.89 million.
Securing the second spot was Turkmenistan State Commercial Bank, which accounted for over 1.04 million cards, while Halkbank Joint-Stock Commercial Bank rounded off the top three with an excess of 624,348 cards.
Dayhanbank mainly works with clients in the regions of the country. Thus, most of the cards issued by the bank were issued to customers in the Mary (559,571), Dashoguz (463,497), and Lebap (421,771) regions.
