ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 9. Dayhanbank State Commercial Bank is the leading banking institution of Turkmenistan in terms of the number of bank cards, Trend reports.
According to the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, as of the start of December 2023, the total number of cards issued by Dayhanbank has exceeded 1.94 million.
In the rankings, Turkmenistan State Commercial Bank secured the second position, boasting a substantial figure of over 1.07 million cards and the Halkbank Joint-Stock Commercial Bank closes the top three with 656,322 cards.
Dayhanbank primarily focuses its operations on clients located in various regions of the country, therefore, consequently, a significant proportion of the cards issued by the bank were distributed to customers in the Mary region (578,516), Dashoguz region (482,747), and Lebap region (431,312).
