ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, January 11. Turkmenistan’s Dayhanbank State Commercial Bank has become the bank with the most active POS terminals countrywide, Trend reports.
The data of the Central Bank said Dayhanbank has 8,654 POS terminals as of the beginning of January 2024, with Halkbank Joint-Stock Commercial Bank coming second with 7,798 terminals, and Turkmenistan State Commercial Bank being third with 7,763 terminals.
At the same time, Dayhanbank POS terminals are located mainly in the regions of Turkmenistan. Thus, most of the bank's terminals are located in the Lebap (2,434), Mary (1,827), and Dashoguz (1,736) regions.
