ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, March 15. Turkmenistan’s Dayhanbank State Commercial Bank became the bank with the most active POS terminals countrywide at the beginning of March this year, Trend reports.
The data from the Central Bank said Dayhanbank has 8,415 POS terminals, with Turkmenistan State Commercial Bank coming in second with 7,608 terminals and Halkbank Joint-Stock Commercial Bank coming in third with 6,933 terminals.
At the same time, Dayhanbank POS terminals are located mainly in the regions of Turkmenistan.
Thus, most of the bank's terminals are located in the Lebap (2,392), Mary (1,754), and Dashoguz (1,714) regions.
