Azerbaijan lists nation's payout-based top ten insurance players

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 25. The total payments of 10 leading insurance companies in Azerbaijan amounted to 257.8 million manat ($151.5 million) (92.77 percent of total insurance payments) from January through May 2024, Trend reports.

Based on the results of the reporting period, Pasha Life Insurance Company took the cake when it came to the volume of insurance payments, making up a whopping 52.67 percent of all companies' total insurance payments. During the reporting period of 2024, it shelled out a whopping 144.7 million manat ($85 million).

Pasha Insurance came in at number two, receiving 54.5 million manat ($32 million), or 19.86 percent of all payments. Ateshgah Life Insurance came in at number three, receiving 21.2 million manat ($12.4 million), or 7.74 percent.

Over the reporting period, all Azerbaijani insurance companies paid out a total of 274.8 million manat, or $161.6 million.
