BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 18. The issues of financing the process of integrating renewable energy sources and renewable energy facilities into the energy system of Azerbaijan were discussed by the management of Azerenerji OJSC and experts of the World Bank (WB) in the online format, Trend reports via Azerenergy OJSC.
“Head of OJSC Baba Rzayev, during the online meeting, discussed with the World Bank's Regional Director for the South Caucasus, Rolande Pryce, the issues of financing the process of connecting large renewable energy facilities, which are beginning to be built in Azerbaijan, to the country's power grid,” the information notes.
Furthermore, the sides discussed issues related to the construction of a 500 kV Navai substation and new power transmission lines.
