( dpa )- Acer has expanded its program to include a new computer especially tailored to the needs of gaming fans. The Aspire M5620 possesses a quad-core Intel processor with 2.4 Gigahertz (GHz) of processing power as well as more than 3 Gigabytes (GB) of RAM, the company reports.
An NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS graphics card with DirectX 10 support provides for optimal depiction of detail in graphics-intense games.
The gaming PC and its black casing hold two hard drives with a total of 1 terabyte (TB) of storage space. The computer comes equipped with a Blu Ray and HD DVD-ready hybrid drive, as well as an additional double layer DVD drive and a card reader. Windows Vista Home Premium comes pre-installed. The suggested retail price is 1500 dollars, Acer says.
A somewhat slimmed down version, the Aspire M5630, costs around 1,050 dollars.
