Azerbaijan, Baku, 25 August / Trend corr. S.Babayeva /Ali Abbasov, Azerbaijani Communication and IT Minister, will participate at the 39th meeting of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) in the communication sphere and 13th meeting of the Coordination Information Council. Abbasov will head Azerbaijani delegation.
The meeting will be held in Ashgabat on 24 and 25 September.
Initially, RCC was planned to hold in the end of May. However, the meeting was postponed due to organization issues.
According to the Azerbaijani Ministry, Azerbaijani Communication Ministry will take part at the meeting.
Meeting's agenda includes preparations to the 24th World Postal Union Congress, as well as World Electric Communication Standardization Assembly, to implement decisions by World Postal Union on information society.
The delegates from Azerbaijan, Russia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, Belorussia, Kazakhstan and other countries.
