Azerbaijan, Baku, 17 September / Trend corr. S.Babayeva /All post offices in Baku, which are owned by the Azerpocht state venture of the Communication and IT Ministry, are planned to be connected to the national public utilities payment system in autumn. The system is expected to be set up in the Natioal Bank of Azerbaijan.
Eighty postal offices are expected to be connected to the system.
Azerpocht said that the new introduced system would make public utilities collection more effective.

This system is designed to provide subscribers with the possibility to pay utilities through bank and post offices cashes and through gas machines, POS terminals and internet banking.
Currently, payments for gas, water and electric energy are implemented via the system.
Azerpocht unites 59 post offices, 2 post departments, 2 daughter enterprises and 8 connection units.
Over 1,300 post offices are operating in the state venture to cover settlements of the country.
