Meeting of CEPT Working Group to Take Place in Baku

Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 September /corr. Trend S.Babayeva / Jointly organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan and Conference of European Post and Telecommunications (CEPT), the 64th meeting of the working group 'Management of radio frequency spectrum' commenced in Baku on 22 September. The Ministry of Communications said that the meeting is attended by more than 100 specialists from 30 countries worldwide.    

The agenda of session includes such questions as renovation and support of the European table of distribution and use of frequencies, study of strategy of using spectrum of SRD devices, questions of wide-band systems in the interests of Public Protection and Disaster Relief (PPDR).

The working group contains forum of specialists in the sphere of frequency regulation of CEPT countries to discuss the issues of managing radio frequency spectrum.     

The meeting will last till 26 September.
