Azerbaijan, Baku, 19 November / Trend / The Forum of Azerbaijani Students of Europe (FASE) was held in London. It aims to explore the ways of converting the Azerbaijani oil capital into human capital and investment as well as to initiate proposals in this field. This forum organized at the House of Lords of the United Kingdom has taken place with the support of Azercell Telecom LLC.
This event which unites all youth living outside Azerbaijan has seen these speeches made by Lord Fraser, Chairman of Anglo-Azerbaijani society and Mr.Fakhraddin Gurbanov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the United Kingdom. The private sector at the Forum has been represented by Mr.Ali Aghan, deputy-CEO of Azercell Telecom LLC.
Addressing the participants, Mr.Aghan has noted the company's satisfaction over investments made by the company for the future generations.
About 100 Azerbaijani students studying in European countries were in attendance.
The Forum of Azerbaijani Students of Europe (FASE) has been established in 2006 in Brussels. The main goal of the Forum is to appeal to the national youth studying and living abroad not to be indifferent to the issues related to the future of country and build the lobbying work to defend our national interests in the structures of the European Union. So far, FASE meetings have taken place in German Bundestag, the Council of Europe, European Parliament and French Senate.
