Azerbaijan, Baku, 28 November / corr Trend S.Babayeva / The first testing of automated corporative information system installed by HP company and its partners Colvir and Sinam at Azerpocht State Enterprise of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, was completed in success.
Several days ago, first operations of online phone payments reception were held at post office №10 of postal branch №1 of Azerpocht within the "money order" module, the ministry said on November 28.
"A central post office of the branch joined the system after the elimination of certain discrepancies,"- the enterprise said.
Testing of communal payment reception though APUS system was also realized. As a result, normal informational exchange between APUS and automated corporative information system was held based on the provided format.
In the near future, the phone payment reception of operators Azercell, Bakcell and Catel will be realized by the system or in the form of informational exchange. The overall exploitation of the system will be launched in September 2009.
The automated corporative information system at Azerpocht was established within the joint project of the World Bank with Azerbaijani government. The cost of the project totaled $17.5mln, including credit of $12.25mln provided by the WB. The rest of the cost falls on Azerbaijan. The project aims to introduce financial services to the postal network of the country.
