The Azerbaijani Communications and Information Technologies Ministry and the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) signed a protocol on the expansion of innovation activity in the ICT sector on Oct.29.
The protocol involves the use of fundamental scientific advances, creation and use of ICT products and services, establishment of a national infrastructure-GRID that will facilitate the Azerbaijani scientists' participation in solution of the global problems. The ministry and the ANAS will create a joint working group to implement these activities.
