The number of 3G subscribers on Azerfon-Vodafone has hit 60,000, Azerfon General Director Gido Helbich said at the opening of the company's service center today.
3G services were launched by the operator the day before.
Helbich said the growth shows how innovative services attract the interest of users. The services offered to Azerfon-Vodafone subscribers fully correspond with their interests.
The company hopes to put into operation 10 new service centers in Azerbaijan in the near future.
Customers can buy phones and sign mobile services contracts at the center.
