Azerbaijani ether broadcasters use different frequency resources while broadcasting of radio programs, Azerbaijani National Council for Television and Radio chairman Nushiravan Maharramli said in an interview published on the official website of the New Azerbaijan Party.

According to him, broadcasting of radio programs on the territory of Baku and Absheron peninsula is carried out at one frequency, but at another one - all across the country. Therefore, while leaving the capital and the Absheron Peninsula, it is necessary to adjust user devices at different frequencies.

The council gave Azerbaijani radio broadcasters necessary permission to broadcast radio channels throughout the republic. Today, eight Republican, 14 regional TV channels and more than 10 radio stations operate on the territory of Azerbaijan. Broadcasting of foreign radio stations on the territory of Azerbaijan is estimated as penetration into the ether.

Today, Azerbaijani TV channels and those from neighboring countries penetrate the ether.

According to Maharramli, local radio stations, using short-range transmitters, can not fill the existing gaps in the ether. The problems with penetration into Azerbaijan's ether from the outside occur.

Today, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology conducts a number of measures to remove the illegal penetration into ether in the Republic. This issue will be resolved soon.
