The volume of information and communication services provided by organizations and population for the first six months hits 514 million manat, which is 28.2 percent more than the same period last year, the State Statistical Committee said.
About 74.3 percent falls to services rendered to population. About 68.6 percent of the revenue fell to mobile services, whose growth was 17.5 percent.
The number of mobile phone users increased by 9.3 percent within six months and totaled 8.5 million subscribers as of July 1.
