Azercell Telekom Ltd. reached the final of World Communication Awards (WCA) in two categories, the company said.
The leader on Azerbaijani mobile communications market among many WCA -2010 participants was chosen as the candidate for the award in the category "Green Award" and "Best Team".
Azercell became the first winner in the category of "Green Award" for activity in the field of corporate social responsibility. The successful implementation of the rebranding program by the company was taken into account in the category of "Best Team".
The company president Ali Agan praised the choice of Azercell in this influential contest in two categories.
Winners of World Communication Awards will be announced during the commemorative event, to be held in London November 24.
It should be noted that TeliaSonera also claims victory in two categories: "Work with customers" and "Best sale result".
Ltd. Azercell Telekom is the largest mobile operator in Azerbaijan. The number of Azercell subscriber base has exceeded 4 million users.
