The speed of incoming Internet traffic in the network of the Azerbaijani primary provider Delta Telecom reached 11 Gbit/s, the company's statistical report says.
Over the past three months the volume of incoming traffic (used in the network of Internet service providers) has increased from one to three Gbit/s.
The dynamics of the network load varies depending on time of day and the largest part of network load falls on the daytime. At night, this figure falls to 2.5 Gbit/s.
According to the Delta Telecom statistics, the volume of outgoing traffic reaches 3 Gbit/s. This figure reduces to one Gbps at night.
At present, the total capacity of the AzNET segment exceeds 35 Gbit/s.
Delta Telecom traffic is divided among 26 telecommunications operators (public and private Internet service providers, mobile operators, etc.)
As of Dec.18 the largest amount of traffic delivered to the end user, falls to the public Internet service provider BakinterNet (more than 22.83 percent), Uninet (trademark Stream) ranks second with a share of over 14.41 percent, Stellford company (trademark Connect) ranks third - 10.74 percent.
