Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 27 / Trend H.Valiyev /
Russian developer and provider of integrated solutions in the field of Public Health, AKSIMED, is considering the possibility of establishing a partner network in Azerbaijan, the company's Marketing Manager Igor Lukashov told Trend.
Lukashov said Monday that the company was considering several proposals of Azerbaijani IT companies to become partner with AKSIMED.
"AKSIMED's strategy is based on the most complete reliance on IT-companies in regions and countries to find customers. We believe this approach is the only correct and effective, first and foremost for the benefit and in terms of customers from the number of medical institutions, to which IT is now indeed vital, and this trend is equally relevant for Azerbaijan and Russia and other countries," Lukashov said.
Today, he said, the number of customers of the Medical Information System (MIS) AKSi-office includes both public and commercial medical institutions as well as IT-companies in Azerbaijan. Customers are located in Baku and in other cities of Azerbaijan with medical facilities applying on the MIS AKSi-office among the first in the Commonwealth Independent States in July 2009.
"In developing the MIS AKSi-office, AKSIMED intended to make this decision as easy and comfortable as to install and use. Therefore, any computer user may install the system, for which it is enough to re-download MIS AKSi-office from the AKSIMED site and complete the registration questionnaire. The site contains detailed instructions for installing, and the installation process is accompanied by step by step instructions," Lukashov said.
The advantages of this system in hospitals, Lukashov said, can be divided into two groups. The first of these are all aspects related to possible full automation of routine tasks that doctors and nurses have to perform daily like filling in various forms, letterhead, etc. System AKSi-office release medical workers from this obligation as it is composed of ready-made templates of the most common medical records (out-patient card, the recipe, an excerpt from a medical card, etc.). AKSi-office allows doctors to quickly invoke the name of drugs and disease on the first letter of the terms.
The second advantage of the system is a continuous automatic updating of information on names of drugs, names and codes of diseases (in accordance with their international classification). For this purpose, the physician's computer must be connected to the Internet.
