Baku will host the twenty-seventh session of the Regional Commonwealth of Communications' (RCC) Economy of Communications Commission on May 24-25, the RCC reported on Friday.
The meeting will consider issues of telecommunications services liberalization, ways to reduce informational risks, interconnection service provider tariff policies, and new types of communications services.
The Economy of Communications has operated as a RCC working body for 17 years.
The commission's main task is to form coherent and coordinated approaches in an attempt to create the most favorable conditions for resolving economic communications issues.
The commission includes representatives of RCC communications administrations and representatives of telecom operators, which jointly consider the practical issues of their activities.
