Azerbaijani Internet service providers increase the technical basis for improving services, chairman of the Internet community of Azerbaijan Galib Gurbanov told Trend.
"The users complain about the speed and quality of services. The reason is the final technical state of infrastructure. The number of connections is more than planned," Gurbanov said.
One of the problems causing dissatisfaction among the end users, is the so-called "dead zones" existing between the automatic telephone exchanges, he said.
"Dead zones" occur at a distance of more than 2,000-2,500 meters.
The problem is solved by mobile automatic telephone exchanges, enabling to rapidly deploy telecommunications infrastructure in a particular area.
"Similar problems also arise among providers rendering wireless Internet access. These are the so-called shadow zones of coverage," Gurbanov said.
