The volume of ICT services provided to organizations and people amounted to 287.4 million manat in Azerbaijan in January-March, which is more by 23.5 percent compared to the same period last year, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.
Thus, 74.2 percent of the figure falls to services rendered to population. Some 64.8 percent of revenues fall to mobile service.
The number of mobile subscribers in Azerbaijan increased by 335,400. As of April 1, some 7.2 million active numbers was recorded in the country, which increased by 13.6 percent compared to the same period of 2010.
The State Committee also notes an increase in the rate of production of ICT equipment in the country. Thus, computer, electronic, optical and electrical equipment in the country was produced at 37.4 million manat in January-March 2011.
A 2.2-time growth was observed in the manufacture of electrical equipment. Finished goods in the amount of 8.7 million manat have been in stock, which made 3.9 percent of the total reserves of production of industrial enterprise
