Aztelekom PU under the Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry states the reduction in selling TAC-cards, PU told Trend.
The main factor, affecting the sale of the phone cards, is the growing popularity of broadband Internet.
As of today, the number of broadband connections to the telecommunication infrastructure of the operator, which cover the whole territory of the Republic, hits 34,000 taking into account the public Internet service providers and other Internet service providers.
The total number of Internet service providers, rendering services in Aztelekom, exceeds 10 units.
