The Information Computer Centre of the Azerbaijani Communications and Information Technologies Ministry has introduced an authentication system for access to the portal of electronic government through mobile devices (mobile phones and tablet computers).
The centre presented an application that will provide access to the e-government portal through mobile devices.
The new system empowers users to create digital certificates by using a two-factor authentication system and receive access to the portal of e-government by scanning the QR code.
In future, application functionality will be supplemented by modules providing assurance of legally significant documents by electronic signature and its address to relevant departments.
