Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov. 17

By Maksim Tsurkov - Trend:

Problems with Internet in Azerbaijan haven't affected the flow of traffic to other countries, Iltimas Mammadov, acting minister of communications and high technologies, said in an exclusive interview with Trend Nov. 17.

He said there were no problems with transmission of Internet traffic through the territory of Azerbaijan.

"Problems with Internet arose because of damage on equipment in the technical center of Azerbaijan's primary provider," he explained.

"However, transmission channels to Georgia, Iran and the Middle East were working at full capacity," noted Mammadov.
