SOCAR IT LLC passed the state registration in Azerbaijan through the “single window” system of the Ministry of Taxes, the ministry‘s Vergiler newspaper reported June 7.
The company was registered on April 5 with authorized capital of 50,000 manats.
Official representative of SOCAR IT is Vusal Ahmadov.
SOCAR IT will deal with computer information systems, information security systems, as well as establish connections between Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR’s enterprises.
SOCAR includes production associations Azneft (enterprises producing oil and gas onshore and offshore), Azerikimya (chemical enterprises) and Azerigas (distributor of gas), as well as oil and gas processing plants, service companies and the facilities involved in geophysical and drilling operations.
