Azerbaijani company H-Tech assembled about 5,000 Acer laptops, a source in the company told Trend.
The volume of the local assembly of the laptops is still insufficient, according to the source.
“Nevertheless, the situation may change for the better, if we can get the order to supply computers to schools, which is envisaged in the project of the Education Ministry.”
Assembly of the Acer technology is being implemented with the financial support of the Azerbaijani State Fund for Development of Information Technologies.
H-Tech is a resident of the Mingachevir branch of Azerbaijan’s High Tech Park LLC. Current benefits for the residents of the High Tech Park include the exemption from the customs and tax duties and discounted prices on accessories, which, in turn, allow the company to supply the market with products at competitive prices.
