Azerbaijan successfully implemented a project on introducing electronic agriculture system in the country, Ilham Bayramov, head of office of Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture, told reporters in Baku Nov. 3.
The project`s implementation started two years ago with the support of the European Union. The EU technical assistance aimed at creating an electronic agriculture system in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.4 million euros.
The aim of the project is to ensure a fair and transparent distribution of agricultural subsidies.
