Revenues of Azercell Telecom LLC, an Azerbaijani mobile operator, amounted to about 411 million manats in 2017, Serdar Yilmaz, head of the company’s financial department, said Feb. 28 in Baku at a press conference on the company’s activity last year.
He said that compared to 2016, the growth was 5 percent.
“In 2016, the company’s revenues were about 393 million manats,” Yilmaz said.
As for the company's 2018 investment policy, Yilmaz said the investment amount will not be less than the amount invested by the company in 2017.
In 2017, the investments reached about 50 million manats.
By implementing numerous projects in corporate social responsibility throughout its activity, Azercell invested more than $1 million in 2017 and over $18.7 million in 1996-2017 in the development of the social sphere, as well as business and human resources.
