Protection of the radio-frequency spectrum has been strengthened in Baku over the forthcoming 2018 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix to be held April 27-29, a source in the country's telecommunications market told Trend.
Monitoring, testing of electronic equipment and checking of their parameters are carried out in the race venues. Protection of the frequencies from external influences is an important component at a time when such large-scale activities are held.
Wireless devices are important factors creating problems and affecting the frequency spectrum. In this regard, all equipment to be used during the race will also be carefully checked.
Stability of mobile communication and data transmission services will also be ensured during the race. The necessary frequencies have been allocated to ensure the high quality of TV broadcasting.
To ensure reliable and stable operation of mobile communications (including the quality of roaming), operators' relevant equipment (mobile base stations) has been installed on the territory of the Seaside Boulevard.
