Three innovations in the sphere of bank card payments were presented to visitors of the 11th national exhibition of banking services BankExpo 2018, which was held in Tashkent on April 19-21, a message on the official website of the event reads.
According to the information, the first novelty is a single payment terminal for owners of MasterCard, Visa and Uzbek GlobUz cards, which will allow customers to easily pay for purchases using any of the mentioned cards.
In addition, customers of Uzbek banks will soon be able to pay for goods and services using NFC contactless payment system using a mobile phone and other electronic devices, such as watches or rings. The payment will be made using a built-in NFC chip.
The third innovation is integration of the GlobUz terminal system with the Frontal and Artix cash solutions, which will allow customers to make purchases without the assistance of cashiers by entering the PIN-code and the amount paid.
It was reported earlier that Uzpromstroybank allowed paying with Visa cards in any part of the world without converting the Uzbek national currency to local currency.
