Afghanistan seeks to adopt Azerbaijan's experience in implementing the automated information system “Financial and Accounting Reporting Application for Budgetary Institutions (FARABI), SINAM told Trend on May 4.
The matter is ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), which allows budget organizations to keep the accounting records over the "cloud" infrastructure, the company said.
At the same time, the senior authorities (Finance Ministry, State Statistics Committee, etc.) get the consolidated data.
"This allows enterprises to escape unnecessary expenditures for building the IT infrastructure. The project was implemented by the Finance Ministry in Azerbaijan. The Afghan colleagues were interested in the Azerbaijani project, and they intend to apply it in their country. Thus, a tender is expected to be announced to select a company that will implement it. We intend to participate in this tender," SINAM said.
