Azerbaijan recorded a 3 percent increase in sales of laptops (laptops, netbooks) as of January-April 2018, Global Stats statistical center announced May 12.
The share of the notebook market in the country as of the end of April was 57.4 percent. This market segment grew by 4.3 percent compared to the same period last year.
In the four months of 2018, sales of desktop PCs decreased by 3.8 percent, according to Global Stats.
The market share of desktop systems in the country as of May 1 was 40 percent, which is 3.1 percent less than last year.
The tablet market is 2.49 percent in the ranking. The indicator of this market segment in January-April fell by 0.4 percent, and compared with the similar indicator of last year, this market share decreased by 30 percent.
