The State Medical Insurance Agency of Mongolia has taken interest in the Caremed hospitals management system of the Azerbaijani Neuron Technologies company, the Director of the company Ismail Alekberov told Trend Oct. 19.
Alekberov noted that the negotiations on cooperation with the state agency were held as part of an export mission to Mongolia organized by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Azerbaijani IT-companies Sinam and Cybernet.
“Currently in Mongolia, reforms are being carried out in the field of medical insurance and on the basis of these reforms, Mongolia is studying the best practices of a number of countries. Given the interest of the state agency in our proposed solution, we agreed to consider the possibility of modifying Caremed system in accordance with the requirements of the state agency. The negotiations on this issue will continue," Alekberov said.
The Caremed system is a platform that combines user functionality similar to the functionality of a social network. The user can be authorized in the system by using an electronic signature or personal identification number.
The functionality of the system allows for making an appointment to see a doctor, get recipes, store results of laboratory analyses, treatment results, etc.
In Azerbaijan, the Caremed hospital management system has been introduced at Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC. The solution is used in the outpatient medical clinic of the company and provides for the automation of the procedure for receiving and registering the patients.
The modules of the system allow for managing the treatment process in dentistry, pediatrics, ophthalmology, neuropathology, diagnosis, etc. Also a module for controlling cash transactions, payments, personnel management, and more has been built into the system.
