By the end of 2018, the subscriber base of mobile operators in Azerbaijan will increase by 0.1 percent, the Azerbaijani government told Trend.
The number of mobile operators' subscribers in Azerbaijan will exceed 10.13 million at the end of 2018, according to forecasts.
The forecasts claim that the number of mobile operators' subscribers in Azerbaijan in the next four years (2019-2022) will increase by 0.1 percent annually and by the end of 2022 it will exceed 10.18 million.
The government also predicts an increase in the number of landline telephones. The number of landline telephones will increase from 1.43 million (in 2018) to 1.5 million (in 2022). According to forecasts, in 2018 the total number of landline telephones per 100 people will be 15 units. This indicator in the next four years will remain at the same level.
