Azerbaijani postal operator Azerpost LLC is starting the installation of parcel and letter machines in Baku, a source at the company told Trend.
The source noted that the first machines will be installed in the Shabaka service centers, and in the future they will also appear in crowded places such as shopping and entertainment facilities.
A parcel and letter machine is a self-service device that provides 24/7 delivery of mailings, which will allow to receive parcels without queues, at any time in convenient locations.
"The device allows to automate receiving and sending parcels. Using the machine is quite simple and convenient. The client can choose to which parcel machine the mailing is to be delivered. The device is equipped with a weigher and a slot for receiving payments," the source said.
An additional advantage of the machine is that the client using the device, can order an Azerpost plastic card.
