Unlimited tariff plans for internet users will appear in Uzbekistan this spring, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uzbektelecom.
New tariffs are introduced from February 25 and will take effect from March 1.
Tariffs of the new line imply Internet access at 4, 10 and 20 Mbit/s speed without traffic restrictions. The subscription fee will be 99,000 soums, 149,000 soums and 199,000 soums, respectively.
Uzbek President gave an instruction to bring the speed of connection to the World Wide Web in Uzbekistan to the level of CIS countries by 2020. So far, Uzbekistan is in the 110th place in the speed rating of the Internet, formed by the Speedtest Global Index.
