In February 2019, the activity of Facebook users in Azerbaijan decreased by 2.82 percent compared to January 2019, Trend reports referring to Global Stats.
Facebook's share in Azerbaijan has been declining for the fourth month in a row. So, in November 2018 this figure was 51.54 percent, in December 2018 - 45.46 percent, in January 2019 - 39.28 percent.
Nevertheless, despite the reduction in the share, Facebook continues to hold the first place in the country's social media market in popularity.
In second place among social networks is held by YouTube, whose user activity in February decreased by 1.79 percent to 16.51 percent. The share of YouTube in Azerbaijan has declined throughout 2018. So, in January 2018, the share of this social network in Azerbaijan was 34.37 percent. In January 2019, it was already 18.35 percent.
The activity of Pinterest users increased by 0.39 percent in February 2019. This social network ranks third in terms of popularity in Azerbaijan.
Pinterest is followed by Twitter (22.06 percent), the user activity of which increased by 10.16 percent for the month.
Other social networks account for less than 10 percent: Instagram - 5.72 percent (6.84 percent in January), VKontakte - 1.27 percent (3.65 percent).
