Youth of Uzbekistan, Belarus to co-op in ICT field

Youth Unions of Uzbekistan and Belarus signed a roadmap for development of cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) in Minsk within the 1st Youth IT Forum of Belarus and Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing BelTA news agency.
The document was signed by First secretary of the Central Committee of the Belarusian Youth Union Dmitry Voronyuk and Chairman of the Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan Kahramon Kuranbaev.
Kuranbaev stated that the forum in Minsk has provided a platform for discussing interstate cooperation in the field of modern technologies and entrepreneurial activity.
He drew attention to the fact that Belarus is a close friend and reliable partner for Uzbekistan.
The parties plan to hold more youth Belarusian-Uzbek IT forums and conclude agreements between universities of the countries on the organization of internship, master classes and exchanges.
The 1st Youth IT Forum of Belarus and Uzbekistan is being held in Minsk from August 5-9.
