“Digital sector activities in Iran are worth $2.3 billion, while animation market work is worth $166 million and advertisement market transaction amounts to $142 million," said the minister.

"Iran's animation sector activities should reach 40 times growth while digital content should increase to 14 times. Iran's trade share in ICT is relatively low, so we expect more development," Mohammad Shariatmadari added.

"The ministry seeks to create organization for digital content and entrepreneurship in upcoming months. The government can create convenient space for digital ecosystem to explore the field," Isa Mansouri added.
